PROGRAMME

According to their basic common characteristics and target groups, and in accordance with the world trends and the needs of domestic market, we have divided all group fitness programmes into two groups: MIX AEROBICS and MIX PILATES. During the 2007/2008 season the programme designed for the youngest club members was created. Its name is FIT GIRLS.

Both of the basic programmes consist of a number of different styles that are constantly rotated but also updated with the new styles that appear in the market. Weekly rotation of the styles and instructors as part of MIX AEROBICS and MIX PILATES programmes is performed according to the monthly plan. This working system prevents any kind of monotony or plateau in exercising. At the same time it creates the opportunity for the all-embracing body fitness and skills development, contrary to the programmes that consist of only one style.

The common characteristic of all the styles that are part of MIX AEROBICS programme is the intermediate or high level aerobics training that consists of the condition as well as mat exercises. The programme consists of the most popular styles and trends in group aerobics fitness programmes, such as: tae-bo, step aerobics, dance aerobics (latin, funky etc.), fitness equipment aerobics (sticks, balls, hoops, elastic ropes etc.), pair work aerobics and so on.

The common characteristic of all the styles that are part of MIX PILATES programme is the usage of relaxing and strength exercises at a slow tempo; paying attention to the proper body posture; avoiding jumping, running or sudden movements, which prevents impact on wrists and ankles. Along with being based on the basic postulates of pilates exercising, for the purpose of effective and all-embracing exercising this programme, just like the Mix Aerobics programme, consists of different styles, such as: fitness equipment styles (sticks, balls, hoops, elastic ropes etc.), style with fitness yoga elements, thai chi, style with ballet elements and so on.

FIT GIRLS programme is designed for girls of pre-school and younger elementary school age, i.e. from 5 to 11 years of age. The programme is performed to the music adjusted for this specific age. It consists of different choreographies and exercises that develop strength, body condition, flexibility and coordination. The programme also includes exercises for the proper body posture and corrective exercise as well as the modern fitness programmes, such as: step aerobics, funky aerobics, latin aerobics, fitness equipment programmes (large and small balls, sticks, magic circles, balance platforms), styles with elements of ballet, martial arts, gymnastics etc. The girls are prepared for public classes and performances and in that way their self-esteem and team spirit is developed. Apart from having an exercising hall, all the locations that we work on include a gym, so one of the girls’ parents will be enabled to use it with a discount during the Fit Girls classes.

A weekly set of classes within all three programmes is conceived according to the basic laws of sports training. This means that each training must have specific aim of developing one of the anthropo-kinetic skills. For this reason the training-days in a week are divided into days of strength trainings, body condition trainings, flexibility trainings, coordination trainings, agility trainings or general trainings. For the most popular fitness aims the strength, body condition and flexibility trainings are the most often ones. Strength trainings form, shape and strengthen the body muscle system. Body condition trainings improve body condition and reduce body fat. Flexibility trainings improve body agility and proper body posture and prevent injuries and deformities.

The intensity of trainings is low, intermediate and high and in each training more variants of the same exercise are shown so that everyone in the class could fit in and perform it. During one week the styles are different on different locations. The members can choose locations and timings according to the intensity, style of exercising or training direction. The schedule is conceived so that every weekly set of classes within the aerobics and the pilates programmes is completely different from the previous one. This difference is included in the character of the trainings, music, class methodic and exercises starting from the introductory, through the main and to the final part of the class. In each and every style the character of sport or dancing from which the style is developed is maintained. It is contrary to the common practice where only the basic style characteristics are marked without having the basic knowledge of the specific sports. Our programme is constantly updated with the new styles and trends from abroad and the new styles created by our professional team.
